Shells by the Pot in Beijing's @hatcheryasia yesterday night. Truely one of the best dining experiences I had so far! My personal favourite were the New Zealand Green Shells in Old Faithful Sauce (White Wine, Lemon, Garlic, Cream & Fresh Herbs). With 7 people we almost ate the whole menu twice, some of the most delicious creations we even ordered thrice. Like the Crispy Kraken w/ Aioli, which was so fresh it must have still been in the sea only hours before. Over his years of buccaneering, he found the New Zealand green-lipped mussel to be supreme and spent his remaining years in the Antipodes dodging pirates and perfecting the mussel pot. In his quest he found crafty beers to be the heartiest accompaniment and we are proud to bring the spoils of his years of toil and seafaring to the bows of Tuanjiehu, Beijing.”
